How it began…

Once upon a time, in the digital realm of Facebook Dating, I stumbled upon a profile that gave me pause - Christy's. Her beauty was striking and her smile was bright. I had to meet her. I gave her a "Like" and didn't believe I would hear back. That woman was too beautiful. Surely she'd find a much better suitor. To my surprise, we connected and we began chatting.

When we first met at that quaint coffee shop, I saw her before I opened the door. She spotted me walking up and had a bright smile on her face. I was stunned at her beauty. After I settled down from that awesome feeling, and we settled in our chairs with coffee in hand, time seemed to stand still. We talked and laughed for hours, a nearly overwhelming sense of instant attraction.

Our first date along Humboldt Bay was like a scene from a fairytale, with synchronized pelicans dancing in the moonlight. As we witnessed their unique fishing technique, we felt an unseen force with us. We knew our connection was guided by a higher power. And on that fateful day, one year after our meeting, I knelt before Christy, tears of joy in her eyes, and asked her to join me for a lifetime.
